This Week's Question:
Share your favorite post from the last month and tell us why it’s close to your heart!

My Answer:
From last month, I think my favorite post was my review of Huntress by Malinda Lo. I don't usually enjoy writing reviews, but with that book I did, because I couldn't wait to write down how I felt about it!

My interview with Gabrielle Zevin comes in as a close second. It was my first author interview, and I was so excited to put it together!

This Week's Question: What book-to-movie adaption have you most liked? Which have you disliked?

My Answer:

I think my favorites are Holes and the first Harry Potter movie. I was actually shocked when I saw how true to the book both movies were!

My least favorites are Eragon and Prince Caspian. which is sad because those books are some of my top favorites. They completely butchered the book in Prince Caspian, it made me so mad! Eragon was infuriatingly different from the book too, and the cinematography was horrible. In fact, I read that the reason they never adapted the rest of the series is because Eragon was so unpopular. I don't know if it's true, but if it was it wouldn't surprise me.

This Week's Question: Which book blogger would you most like to meet?

My Answer:
That's a pretty easy question! I think I'd most want to meet Kristi from The Story Siren and Sandra from Sandra the Nook Worm. Both are awesome, awesome people, and it would be surreal to meet them IRL!

Yes. Yes I do. A few of the authors I always come back to are Carolyn Meyer, Maria V. Synder and Cassandra Clare.

This Week's Question: Pick a character from a book you are currently reading or have just finished and tell us about him/her.

My Answer:

Right now I am reading Across the Universe by Beth Revis, so I'll tell you about Amy.

Amy is 17. She has red hair, green eyes and pale skin which makes her stand out amongst the mono-ethnicity of the Godspeed. Amy was a frozen passenger until someone pulled her plug 50 years early. She loves running, and used to be on a cross-country team. She left her boyfriend Jason on Earth 250 years ago, so even though she misses him she tries not to think of him because his great-great-grandchildren could be her age now.

This Week's Question: Since today is April Fool's Day in the USA, what is the best prank you have ever played on someone OR that someone has played on you?

My Answer:
The best one I can currently think of (that I played on someone) was actually pretty lame. I downloaded an image of the "Blue Screen of Death", opened it in PowerPoint, clicked "Start Presentation" and left it like that on my brother's computer. He was only fooled for about 5 minutes, but those 5 minutes were pretty funny.

This Week's Question: If you could physically put yourself into a book or series…which one would it be and why?

My Answer:
Harry Potter! Harry Potter! Definitely Harry Potter. Who on earth wouldn't want to attend Hogwarts and be a wizard?

Although when I was about 9, I wished I was part of The Babysitter's Club. I really wanted to be Kristi and Mary Anne's friend and live on their street. I also wanted to mouth off Janine for no reason I can remember.

This Week's Question: Do you read only one book at a time, or do you have several going at once?

My Answer:

I used to read multiple books at once (as many as 4 or 5). But I've stopped, because it takes longer to read books that way, at least for me. It took me over six months to read Jane Eyre because I kept putting it aside for other books. So now I try to read only one book at a time.

This Week's Question: If I gave you £50 (or $80) and sent you into a bookshop right now, what would be in your basket when you finally staggered to the till?

My Answer:
Wow…$80? That’s a dream come true. Here’s what I’d buy:

(note: all the prices are from Borders)
Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte (HarperTeen Edition) - $8.99
The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting (Hardcover) - $16.99
Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins (Hardcover) - $17.99
City of Bones by Cassandra Clare (Hardcover) - $17.99
Artemis Fowl: The Opal Deception by Eoin Colfer (Paperback) – $7.99
Beastly by Alex Flinn (Paperback, original edition) – $8.99

Well, that’s only $78.94, but at least I didn’t go over!
