In My Mailbox [14]

In My Mailbox is a meme hosted by The Story Siren, where we share books that we've received.

Library books:

I've already read Invincible Summer, and...it was AMAZING. I loved it. Uncommon Criminals and Behemoth are both sequels to books I really liked, so I'm excited to read them! I'm reading Unearthly right now, and it's good so far.Bought from the Friends of the Library bookstore:

I really like these books, it's one of my favorite MG series, so I'm glad to have the next installment!

    Nice, I've heard a lot about the Uncommon Criminals, yet, I haven't read the first one. But they do seem good, also unearthly awesome book as well. Happy readings, and nice blog by the way.

    I just finished Unearthly the other day and loved it.
    And I love, love, LOVE the Series of Unfortunate Events. Speaking of MG, have you read Percy Jackson? I loved that series too.

    Looking forward to hearing what you thought of Unearthly, personally I liked the plot but wasn't comfortable as much with the writing style. As much as it's becoming popular I don't think I'll ever be comfortable as a reader reading first person present tense. It's not the first person that gets me, it's the present tense.

    I'm glad you're liking the series of unfortunate events. I have read all 13 books and enjoyed them tremendously! They're truly lovely. Beatrice Letters is also a must.

    I've heard about Westerfeld's Behemoth. It'd be nice to see your take on this.
